Still need a huge rock wall area on the back side of the pond. Fish need more hide areas and that back area would be ideal for a setup like that.

I thought it was pretty close to the size that got ate I'm surprised they went with it. me personally I think they should've gotten one a little bit bigger but he made it so far it hasn't been attacked. The more time it has in the tank the harder it will be for them to eat it. if he recovers all his strength it'll be be way hard for them to gulp it the last one they hit right as they put it in but they left it alone! hopefully he stays in there 😎

You should double the hiding spots. Put the one you have to the left and make another to the right. The big boys might be less territorial if they have more hiding places

Not messing with lightening in a boat is a good idea. I was in a boat with my dad when I was a kid, while a storm was moving toward us. Out of seemingly nowhere all of the color drained from my dad's face as he said "we need to go home right now". I was scared but because he didn't tell me why, it was just general anxiety. When we were home safe he said "your hair was sticking straight up". I had no idea what that meant at first so I was still annoyed we couldn't boat around longer. He then explained that before lightening hits a person, their hair will often stand on end. I properly freaked out after that... Well, mentally freaked out but then again I've always been rather... grounded😅.
