Outstanding! My shop will look like that as soon as the Temps in the lower teens goes away. I'm old and beat to crap so I tend to be a bit conservative. There isn't any project worth getting pneumonia over. My wife was very ill and had multiple hospital stays some of which I stayed over with her, along with up to 8 appointments a week and I never got sick. It would have been a nightmare had I got sick as I was her sole caregiver. I was lucky as hospitals are full of sick people....go figure. She passed in September and other than a defective gall bladder my health has held. I like it that way😁. Again, nice job on the truck! Cheers Terry from chilly South Carolina.

I wish I lived close to you. I’m setting my pickup up for plowing snow and have an aluminum backrack that I am mounting a strobe emergency light, a cb antenna and maybe some LED backup lights also. I ordered an eight circuit upfitter switch from Auxbeam so I don’t have to drill in a bunch of switches into my dashboard. This way, most of the wiring stays under the hood.

You might be able to fix that back up light switch by adding a diode in series with the reverse light bar. It might have capacitors inside it that discharge through the light in the switch.

JC you'll love that Fuel series drill. Hope ya got good strong wrists! Lol. Even when ya think ya got a good hold on it, it will still surprise you with the torque it has. I took a battery upside my cheek/nose full trigger and almost full circle swing after it wrenched itself loose from my two handed grip using a 4" hole saw thru 3/16 diamond plate and the saw grabbed in the cut. I even seen it coming and still couldn't jerk my head outta line fast enough. My own dumb fault for the position I put myself in.

I always do two tabs on those washers because that's how the old Caterpillar manuals called it, and in their shop publications they say why. If you only do one and the washer is of poor quality, there's a higher chance of the tab snapping under stress and the nut backing off. Now, it's true that that's for their era, when metallurgy wasn't as good as today, but... you know how sometimes they slip poor parts through the cracks and you don't know it until it does the doodoo dance on you. Also from the Cat manuals, they had a tool, but if you have an old chisel and you grind the end flat, you can use it (after you've pried away the tab) to bend it all the way down neatly. A cheapo chisel from the overseas will do. Cheers!
