Nobody wants its gameplay back, they wanted a better gameplay for Asura, the game was amazing in all aspects except for the gameplay(and the fact that the actual ending is on a paid DLC)

Asura’s Wrath was an underrated gem and I was very pleased when Max did a playthrough and gave it more exposure. Definitely similar to GOW but more Eastern and episodic. You can tell CC2 had fun developing that game.

Back when Cyke's model was literally just Captain America with a red line painted over his face... Thank goodness they worked out the model importer. I mean, the characters are fantastic either way, but it still looked weird.

Definitely. Although if it's something like Street Fjghter 6, I'd go with a reincarnated Asura. Have his moveset and majority of his personality be based on his game but he'd be understandably nerfed to make it a bit more interesting.

@dnmstarsi Regular Asura with all his insane flashy attacks and transformations would be right at home in MvC. And actual Asura butted heads with Ryu and Akuma. He totally should have been added in Street Fighter 4 Ultra or whatever the final version of that game was.

@@CeHee123 Definitely. IDC if he's overpowered, people will still buy and love his inclusion because it ultimately makes sense especially if he showed up as the true final new inclusion in USF4. Hell, SF5 did some cool world building with a few guest characters or in Zeku's case, a fighter based on another Capcom IP.

I feel like a cooler character select would have both the original characters in the icons and the modded ones. Like smash's echo fighters. Also, add Rogue to this game.

There's a problem with the mechanics of the game where if you try to load in both modded and base character, the first one to get selected is the only one that is allowed. So if you were to pick Iron Man first (p1 or p2) and then the other picks Asura, you'll have a broken Asura that animates and fights like Iron Man.

@@kaibaman9651 It's just a build given to trusted streamers (TampaNeverSleeps, HAVENGERS, Max to name a few) which have all of the available modded characters in a single pack to play specifically made to avoid the mechanical problem of the game that doesn't allow two different characters to be loaded, like in the case I stated with Iron Man and Asura. Some day it's gonna be made accessible, but they're still working on it for release.

He is an original character with his own moves/combos/specials and not just a skin for another character despite him being found if you flip though Iron Man’s alternates…. That is impressive. It really looks like he is part of the roster. The model is fantastic. Well fucking done whoever worked on this! Capcom… you have no excuse now… Whenever you make another Marvel vs Capcom game, include him. He has a fanbase and this stellar work proves that.

Asura's VA doesn't get enough credit. Man is doing classic Kratos rage better than Kratos's old VA, and even Judge in many reads. Its so excessive, yet has a lot of character and emtional nuance to the delivery
