I’m late to catching up on the vlogs, but Tara if you see this, you should get an immersion blender! They’re really affordable and you can put it straight in the pot to blend it up to your preferred texture, without having to scoop into the separate blender a bunch of times!

Such an unpopular opinion but I love when the daylight get shorter because it just gives that cozy nesting feeling, you get that much more time of a cozy night in at home cooking dinner or ordering in, warm lighting, couch time + tv shows. And even better coming soon, that much more dark time to enjoy beautiful christmas lights! Find a light show near you and if you decorate the exterior of your house with christmas lights it’s so much fun and so pretty. And of course inside christmas decor and lights too! I appreciate the change for the time of year, I feel like it makes christmas feel right and also makes you appreciate the change each season, longer days in spring and summer and shorter days make fall and winter feel so cozy. Can’t wait to see your christmas decor in your beautiful home 🤍 Hope this helps you enjoy daylight savings a little more 🫶🏻 Also that scam is terrifying, so glad you are safe!

This soup is my absolute go to. It's easy to customize and tastes AMAZING. 1 Tbs olive oil 1 Tbs kosher salt 1 Tbs freshly chopped or dried rosemary 1 Tbs fresh ground pepper to taste 1 tsp ground cumin ½ tsp crushed red pepper flake 1 tsp granulated garlic powder 1-2 bay leaves 1 LB turkey sausage 3-4 peeled chopped potatoes 1/2 inch or smaller 1 hearty bunch of kale chopped 4 stalks of celery chopped 1 whole onion chopped 1-2 box of chicken stock 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream In a large pot add olive oil, sausage and all spices. Once slightly browned add onion, celery. Cook down for 5 min then add kale. Cook another 5-10 min stirring occasionally. Then add potatoes and chicken stock. Making sure potatoes are covered. Simmer until potatoes are tender (approximately 20 min) Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream and serve. Salt and pepper to taste.

love your videos!! and I'm glad you made it home safe. A hack for when you are away traveling. freeze a cup of water and once frozen place a penny or a marble on top and leave it in the freezer. if you lose power while away it will tell you how long it was out for. if it's fully to the bottom you might want to consider throwing out all the food. also you could throw those reusable ice packs for lunch boxes in your freezer so if your fridge is out again chuck those in your fridge and it will extend the coldness in the till it comes back on.

Ah, storing aluminum cans in the fridge after opening is a no-go (the metal can taint food to taste and potentially could have negative health effects over time)! So would be best to transfer anything remaining in opened cans :) Sorry for the critique but I just couldn't take my eyes off it hahaha

Hear me out... 1 cup of miso, 1 cup of Mirin, ½ cup sake, and 2 tbsp of sugar. It makes an AMAZING stir fry sauce you can store for a few weeks. Works good as a salmon marinade too. So so good 🤌🏻 Just cook it down til it's thick and store it in the fridge

Chop up some of them garlic cloves and stick them undear your grass. A little garlic might deter them from pulling it backup. Just make sure you chop it so it doesn't sprout. You don't want to end up with garlic plants all over your backyard. Or maybe sprinkle pepper on top of the grass and put garlic underneath than you have two things keeping them out of the grass. Good luck winning the battle.
