Thank you so much for this wonderful video. Hopefully Kiel will operate in person again in winter semester. Erasmus coming soon

I would suggest to kindly do the majority of courses as physical. If people are given the online option then it is a thousand times harder for the class to be full of students and it makes it so difficult to get to know people. When you give people the option to stay online, they take the easy way out instead of being motivated to go to class. I know this is an unpopular opinion but we only are students for a limited time in our lives and what a pity that would be to stay behind a screen instead of conversing with students, meeting at cafeterias, doing studies in the library together etc.... I think the lectures can still be recorded but at the same time I truly thing that NOTHING replaces the physical experience. If I were the lecturer I would make it strictly physical, still record the lectures but only provide them in the last month before the exams to actually make people attend my class.

Thank you so much for your comment and your thoughts on the matter. At the moment, some teachers offer a hybrid solution due to Covid-related absenses, but in general the university tries to make sure that the majority of courses is taught in person :)

@@WEARECAU Thanks for this effort and KZbin channel. I would definitely try to contribute to it next October. This school is fantastic. I have a great alumni and friend who established himself as a brilliant professor when he studied here. That's a relief to hear that they are mostly in person

@@aboyinfinland9230 We are happy that you like the video and our university :) If you are interested in participating in the seminar where these videos are created, make sure to check out the Key Skills Centre (ZfS - Zentrum für Schlüsselqualifikationen) where the course "WE ARE CAU - Filmproduktion und Social-Media-Management" is offered. The seminar is held in German, but it is open to Erasmus students and the content is produced bilingually. You can also write a mail to our teacher Jackie Gillies and ask if you can participate: www.zfs.uni-kiel.de/de/ueber-uns/team/jackie-gillies
