Finally bought a boat. Sportsman 227 walkthrough

Finally found and bought a 2022 Sportsman masters 227 platinum.
It has been difficult to find a new boat due to low inventory since the COVID-19 pandemic. Could not get
one in Florida. Fortunate to find one in Alabama. No choice of colors or options. Their markup is at least 10%. Decided to get the bigger bay boat or hybrid with a trolling motor to be installed to be able to fish in different waters.

Love the boat. 75 hours now and no issues. The fishing rod storage is very useful.

Very happy. Versatile. Able to fish in deep and shallow water. Enough power. Great control with the trolling motor. Easy to get in out of the water when scuba diving or spear fishing.

@@angelooutdoors4081 How shallow have you been able to take it? I am looking at something similar, either this or a Sea Hunt and am a bit worried that a lot of the bay will simply be out of play because I can't go in it.

@@dankourny 3-4 feet . The depth limited by the length of trolling motor shaft.
