Hey Jamie, Chief here...why don’t you install some S/S hinged gaskets covers over the open controls? Would keep them a little less open to the elements. Saw that very truck in action in LA many years ago at a fire department event. The firefighters that were assigned to it liked everything except the 18 speed tranny. The new ones are auto shift now! 👍😉 Good luck with her!

I love watching you and your team do rescues. I have set an alarm to watch your tv program "Highway to Hell" Monday thru Fri 6am to 7am. It's amazing how you and your team sizes up what needs to be done and then make a plan. There have been times when I found myself actually holding my breath while watching you pull the needed levers that pulls a truck over a guardrail; and especially one of the times you were trying to retrieve the lumber after the truck had been taken away. You were watching your teammate size up what was the best way to get the lumber. You open roads that have been backed up for hours, sometimes working in one lane while leaving one lane open. What a wonderful service you provide and using your God given talents for just such difficult rescues. Junior does well with the camera, lending a hand where needed, and his passion every bit as awesome as his Dad's. I'll "see" you in the morning lol.

I must say that watching you beam happiness when your previous rotator arrived, the constant joy you showed when using it, followed by the obvious heartbreak when you had to downsize stirred the emotions a bit. I can only imagine the feeling of falling from the top with the added pressure of being so widely publicised. But, credit where it's due. You haven't backed away from the lime light and are slowly rebuilding. I detect a sense of disappointment from you in that while it's a good truck, it's not the same as a new from factory with all the bells and whistles truck. You should be proud of yourself that circumstances beyond your control did not destroy you and you are moving forward. Congratulations on the new rotator, may it be the first of many.

Just a heads up on your roll-up doors. Make sure all of the equipment (tools) on the inside of the compartment is secured (mounted). If something slides into the door it could jam the door shut. Also be aware that you may have trouble with the doors in the freezing temps. The moisture gets between the slats and freezes the door shut. Good luck.

Nice rig Jimie! I've been driving for a garbage/recycling service now for over 13 years. We have a large fleet of new and old trucks. I love the older trucks and get to operate them as the younger guys just don't understand them. But, I was run off the road about 3 weeks ago and crashed into a ditch. I was trapped in the cab but pulled myself free by the time rescue showed up. Didn't get to see the rotator pull it out as I went to a local hospital to get checked out. I was bruised real badly, but nothing broken. Sad thing was, the car that run me off the road, never turned around and came back to check on me. People, slow down and move over!

Welcome to the fleet HR 150 version 3 The Rotator is back! The first HR 150 was a Pete Century Jamie sold it when Adam and Collin left to United Towing and it appeared on Heavy Rescue. They sent it stateside and Purdy's Towing in Portland uses it and they also have their own KZbin channel. The second HR 150 was a Western Star Century the truck had problems and when Alberta closed Jamie sold it to Bergs and it also appeared on Heavy Rescue. Heavy Rescue did not like it and it ended up on Zip's Auction House. Hope this one is the truck Jamie needs we have had too many rock cut roll overs on Highway 1 and with the Rotator back in the fleet Jamie can pull them out. I've been watching the show and the new episode is tonight now you know why Jamie needs this truck. Two weeks ago was the firewood wreck high winds sent a truck into the rock cut, a week ago Reliable had that lumber truck that also went into the rock cut, and last week Aggressive had that logging truck that went over a cliff this is why you need a rotator it can get them out. Also I seen a snowmobile trailer flipped, a truck and trailer over a bridge, and most recently a grocery van on its side this is why you need a rotator. Deck rolling a flipped over truck is not very affective you will strain out your wench and you need three trucks just to lift it out or you have to dump the load in the case of the firewood wreck. The Rotator can lift up the truck and its load without tearing it and this one has some neat features on it from its days with LAFD when it was on their show. First the cabinets are located where you want them and all the tools are in there Jamie might need to add more, second the truck has a compressor Jamie can use it to lift airbags or he can use it to power a disabled tractors air system, and the final feature it is light weight and is vintage. The newer rotators are just too heavy thats why towing companies get rid of them and they end up at Zip's this one can pluck a truck out of the ditch and send it to the shop. Good luck with it Jamie it is good to have The Rotator back you need it.
