Hey guys!!! Hope Little Jimmy gets better soon!!!!! With a real Christmas tree, you just get one, put it in a stand so you can water the base of it, which waters the whole tree, and we never take them apart because the branches will die sooner than if you left it all in one piece! But overall, it turned out good! Doing it like this, not sure how long it will live but right now, it looks good! Wish we could send pictures through here lol U all could plant Christmas trees and sell them just before Christmas lol What a fun and exciting video Joyce!!!! Hi Joyce. Moments like those are the things that create genuine memories in a family. Your humble life is stress free and simple. I have been living in the US for many, many years, and I want to go back home at this point. There is no life like those of simplicity, heart felt love, and a family filled with humility. It doesn't matter what the tree looks like. It was created by a family that loves each other and knows what it is to be grateful for what our God provides us with. At least that is money kept in your bank account, and a credit card payment eliminated. You don't have to put on a show to impress anyone as some do in these so-called first world countries! Joyce, Peter, and family: I believe the best decorations are homemade. Everyone can draw and color bells, balls, wreaths, other colorful pictures. Cut them out and hang from the tree. You can drape ribbons around the tree and put bows on the tree. It is beautiful!

You are doing a great job. We celebrate Thanksgiving in America. It is in honor of the first dinner that the early settlers had in America. They invited the Indians to celebrate with them. We usually have a huge dinner with family and friends and a large turkey is usually prepared to eat as the main meat. (I don't like turkey, so I usually prepare a large ham instead.) Most years I wait until after Thanksgiving before putting up the tree and Christmas decorations. This year, since all of my family is grown up, I went ahead and put up our tree and also decorated my fireplace mantle. I also usually decorate outside with lights on the trees and bushes. I did put a wreath on our entry door. Christmas is my favorite holiday as we celebrate the birth of Christ, our Lord and Savior. Everything is so beautiful everywhere you look. We drive around in our car to see all the decorations. I wish you could see it all. Happy Thanksgiving; Merry Christmas; and Happy New Year!🎁🌲🎄🎁
