Wowie! A dramatic conclusion to a fun-to-watch build. What was the finishy substance you fingered onto the sides and neck? - Paul

@@KingBespokeCreations ah, shame. Although to be fair it's been my least favourite show so far. But when it's 25 minutes away it would be silly not to do it

All you had to do is create a border to avoid small pieces from falling off.
@KingBespokeCreationsАй бұрын
@@OlavSchneider the issue with a border was the amount of flex gives an undetermined finished size.

Amazing. I found your PFEIL skew chisel on Amazon, but you don't have any U.S. links. I have a question. I'm working on a 1953 Silvertone guitar for a friend and the neck/fretboard has been a nightmare. The neck is mahogany, and so is the fretboard. The fretboard looked bad so I tried staining it with an oil based stain called "True Black", and now I'm hand sanding it off with a radius block.(NO FUN). So I'm wondering should I leave it natural/ finish with U.V., or dye it with India ink/finish U.V, or use fretboard finishing oil with dryers. The fretboard is too soft on its own. Any help is appreciated.
@KingBespokeCreations Жыл бұрын
If the wood itself is a little soft I would go with a penetrating oil to stiffen it up. Then whichever finish you prefer after that 👍

@@KingBespokeCreations Thank you so much. Stew Mac has one that is linseed oil with dryers and a hardener. It is my first time with this problem, so I submit to your experience and advice.
