Had the idea recently to allow measured shark fishing for the next 12 months. If we could allow those who have been impacted by spanish closures chase sharks it would allow them to supplement their income, control shark numbers and for those doing it tough introduce an affordable seafood options into shops. Just an idea.

It's always a great day when you get one of those rare moments with an encounter with an endangered shark. I've been lucky enough to have them follow me from spot to spot. Now can you tell me where you got those large flat ice blocks in the kill bag, I've only found the smaller ones. Keep up the good work Sammy, always good watching your channel.

I wanted to ask you : (at the beginning of the video) what is the floating device we can see near the pole you’re fishing and what would be the reasons to have it so near to this pole? Thank you for your time. Chris from Crete

Would heavier gear help the landing process? Maybe it would reduce the chance of sharking and break-offs.

Good to see the taxman in action! What the word is, if there is red on the balance sheet wait for the taxman. Maybe don’t bleed your catch in the water beside the boat. They have very sensitive blood detection noses. They hunt by scent, and the more pressure from big foreign fishing boats they will (or have) learnt where to get an easy meal. The

Do you not use a wire or cable to prevent loosing your setup, I mean, sharks or anything with some nice teeth will cut your line. Little Tommy has a great dad and grand dad to teach him everything he needs to know about fishing. Trust me, it is nice having a son.

The tax man cometh, but don't ever hate on sharks. You are the apex predator in most situations. You are hunting for the tradition and experience, that animal is hunting to survive. Really don't need the "big bad wolf" mentality despite it absolutely being frustrating. That part I absolutely get. At least those animals are doing their normal job and aren't insanely overpopulated. Just hella efficient. Here in the US PacNW we get Sealions. Animals that no longer have ANY natural predators, humans aren't allowed to hunt them and the Great Whites and Orca that used to are gone. Imagine a thousand pound pinniped chasing a hooked salmon...into your boat. It happens. And they're everywhere. I'll take a few sharks over that. LOL

@jeffreyherba84358 ай бұрын
What kind of sharks are they?
@serverlan7638 ай бұрын
Sharks are ruining the fishing all around the country. They are learning that the sound of boats is a dinner bell and they are totally tuned into taking every fish that gets hooked. The charter boats in Darwin are pretty much just in the business now of feeding sharks.
