FINALLY fished Bois d'Ark Lake and it didn't disappoint!

It is truly an awesome lake. Things have slowed down a little for the August heat, but they'll be back in force. It's just amazing what the big water districts can accomplish when they steal the land.

Dang, Fannin County TX is becoming the spot for fishing. Bois d'Ark Lake looks awesome from this video and there's a new lake being built in Fannin County called Lake Ralph Hall. Should be able to drop a line there sometime in 2026.

This is so awsome glad we have a new lake . Ok is there any bait stores around how much are boat launching? And nearest stores should get stuff before get there ? And do you how many boat ramps they have thanks for any info and great video iam going there soon so any info would help.thanks

No bait stores that I know of. No fee to launch. 3 boat ramps. Not sure about stores. I live about 2 hrs away.

Bait store at gas station on way to lake Bonham. Just a couple miles off hwy. on fm273 left side

As was every other lake in Texas that has been opened since 1980. Wait three years until the lake has been beat to death and then see if the fish are jumping into the boat. Fork, Ray Roberts, Joe Pool, Richmond Chambers, Cooper and several others were just like this when they first opened.

Social media? Cmon people have been waiting on this lake for months if not years. I have. Hopefully I shed some light on techniques and what to throw so others can have a great day of fishing. Trust me Ive passed boaters each day saying they haven’t caught many. Just enjoy helping others catch fish.
