I also drive my M4 on track... 100% fuel surge when it stutters. Never drive on track with less than 1/4 tank unless you have a swirl pot fitted. Love to join you on track next time. Great video and yeah, track days are the best days! 💯 👍

Man looks like old school black stig. I’m still running pilot super sports, winter fun, went sideways against an S3 just from the lights, had to back off and pretend I wasn’t racing just making my normal progress, no outside influences. No messing though I’m fighting the back end with full traction control, it’s actually easier with everything off because you know when it’s coming rather than when the comps have a spaz.

Fuel starvation man My supercharged 370z did it . I fitted another pump in the other side of tank feeding the stock fuel bucket ...problem.solved can run it down to empty now I had it wired to a switch so you can turn it off it you have plenty of fuel. Awsome video man

18:28 what’s that vibration noise as the car goes sideways? My Golf GTi MK7 makes exactly the same noise when the back end slides and I’m trying to get rid of it... I think it’s flex from suspension bushings or something but I can’t pin down exactly what it is.

Having racing gloves is so important, on my first ever track day I didn't have gloves and my hands were sweating so much I couldn't grip the steering wheel properly, very dangerous. Wouldn't have been much of an issue for Ricky since he's got an alcantara wheel.
