The visual effects in GIRL GVNG are absolutely top notch. This is also allegedly the reason the official music video is so short: It was REALLY expensive. There is no AI used in XG videos. It is CGI, 3-D, 2-D, SFX, animation. For some strange reason, everyone who sees SFX-CGI now thinks that is is all A.I. Look up the director for the MV, Cho Gi-Seok. His animation, paintings, photos... are stunning and creative and otherworldly, all of which is XGs trademark. Wait until you watch Howling, same director. Like GRL GVNG, very damn frame is art. It's overwhelming, the first, the second, the third, the fourth...every time you watch it.

I think the biggest haters are actually the fans that like XGs new style. These fans don't like the whole conventionally beautiful/mainstream appeal thing. Low key it feels like they're using XG to push their grievances with the KPOP industry and men. As for people who don't hate but just don't like the song I think it's because the chorus is very jarring and not as melodic which is highlighted by how catchy the pre-chorus is. You'll notice the other songs where XG mixes the hard style with a melodic style they always do it in the opposite order. Shooting Star has a hard intro that shifts into the melody and Howling has the hard raps followed by the melody. Going from melodic to harsh can feel like a rug pull because just as you start to groove it gets taken away.
