Dealing with waste and by-products is what makes this game different. You need to deal with excess food production and you have many ways to do it. Let it rot, make it into fertilizer or burn animal feed to steam boilers. You need backup plan when your fertilizer backs up and also a backup plan for your backup plan.

Watching you build such neat designs is kinda neat, as my CoI is a sprawling mess of spaghetti pipes and conveyors as everything was created on the fly as needed with no planning whatsoever. heh..

my cryptonite in this game is to design a good layout for factories, belts and pipes, i set something up, then realice its actually kinda terrible in terms of future proofing so have to rebuild everything, while rebuilding, the trucks get over worked, something runs out, then the manure really hits the fans, these videos help figure crap out.

Make your own mountain...out into the sea...off to the side...just ramp up from the island...the further out the deeper...so the further out the more space is available to use for dumping...then when u are able u can deal with the mountian or just leave it
