I had mice get in the upper cab of my tractor. Tied strings to 3 traps and caught 4 of them. They were getting in the channel that hold the hoses . I plugged them with steel wool and put some dryer sheets up top. So far so good.

We use a skid steer to install culverts. We pave mainly driveways and city streets and parking lots so we do a lot of installs for new construction. Even digging the culvert so much faster. On your next one try using one you might be surprised

The trucks don't tailgate spread the gravel because it would take too long. So the 2nd truck has to wait for the pile to be knocked down before it can dump? Sounds efficient.

We don't use galvanized culverts in Maine, everything is ABS. Road salt eats em up quick. Shame those guys didn't know enough to back a truck length off the gravel and plop the gravel out going forward so it didn't blow out the sides. You don't need chains for that.

You are correct but those are carriage bolts so I can only tighten from the nut side

Pushing the gravel from the sides is a lot faster and gives you grade...1/2 to 3/4 of a bucket to start and a full bucket by the time you get through the pile.
