The point we are making is that, the covenant God entered with Christ does not make tithing a law to us . They use examples to coas us but will not talk about those who got reach withouth paying tithe. The princie of truth must be consistent at all times. The apostles did not preach it. The church is playing a dangerous game

@@samwiseadah Abraham, the first man that believed in God that was counted unto him for righteousness, he paid tithe to Melchizedek, and Bible said in Hebrews and psalms, the priesthood of Jesus as been made like the priesthood of Melchizedek. If Abraham the first father of faith paid tithe even before the law to Melchizedek, And the priesthood of Jesus is also like unto Melchizedek, I don't know why 2000 years we have come with different revelations. The Apsotles didn't even collect just 10%, Bible said people sold their ALLL

@@osindelejoshua8297 You forget to address the issue. Abraham was not saved by the tithe he paid , neither was he made rich by it. Abraham did not pay tithe all his life also. Before the pentecostal, the Catholic church sold ordinance for salvation and Luther stood against it to birth the protestant movement. It is the use of pay or face the consequences that is a lie. there is no such thing in the covenant of Grace. The church is not the sours of truth, the bible is and the level of private interpretation this days is embarrassing. This private interpretation is aimed at control and manipulation.

Hebrews 7 from the beginning to the end verse by verse is making a comparison and pointing out Christ as that better convenant(ver.22). It's not a command of tithe payment. By the way, Abraham did not pay tithe from his own belongs but from the spoils of war(vs.2). How can Tithe be so important but the apostles that started the church never spoke about it for once and there's nowhere in the new testament it was commanded to be paid?

Giving it to the needy is not tithing... We give offerings, give to the needy(philanthropy and welfare and each of these are different from tithing. It's a principle in our faith and it's not anyone's business to understand it if they are not part of our faith.

Nobody is fighting over 10%. it's just that tithing is not a Christian practice. 2Cor9v7, that's how Christians should give.
