Thanks for another great video Kip. It was interesting. First of all thinking of myself and you yesterday as Saturday was Veterans Day. Thanks for your service to your country. My 28 years went by fast it seems. Had great years in uniform as you did Also and made lifelong friends. God bless them all. Thanks Kip. Glad you are getting this high moisture corn cracked and in the silo. Know you will be glad to have it filled up. Might be I am looking at your combine wrong but from the drone footage it looks like a panel is missing from the top of the combine??????? Check it out or you probably know what is going on there?????? About it I guess. You all take care and be safe. Thanks for everything Kip. The drone footage shows a lot of corn to come out yet. Assume you have bin space on the farm for rest of corn or take straight to the elevator. Thanks for everything Kip. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.

Can’t believe how much rain you’ve had. Looks like not much chance for any fall tillage! Corn is so sticky it doesn’t want to flow out of the grain cart.

Silos make for alot of extra hard work in these times but man what a great system to make top notch feed for a wonderful herd of cattle . I know you've talked about getting them gone in the future and that will be a sad day indeed . End of a era

I totally agree. I remember going out to the silo shed to help (watched) my grandpa feed cows. But like said in another video. Not many people know who’s to work on them anymore.

How many acres of beans do you have? And how many acres of corn you got left? If you gotta do beans you’re gonna have fun in the mud you might have to wait until she freezes. If we don’t get no snow I know what it’s like I used to come by corn and so eating in the mud, I was a farmers, Wisconsin.

That’s awesome. I have a question why don’t you just dump into your chopper box with no roof on it and keep that set up by the blower or have 2 of them instead of dumping into the end dump and moving all the time. God bless

Love the videos….Why mix silage and the wet corn? Why not just cut it as all silage. Wouldn’t you get more material that way?

Just curious. Why don’t you just use gravity wagons for hmc? Same as silage corn basically. Just run wagons strsit out to combine and back to silo grinder. Would eliminate auger wagon semi and tilt trailer etc: I get it ya progly use grain cart for soybeans and wheat etc. but for hcm just seems harder using big west end dump like that. I’m sure ya got your reasons I was just curious badicallly

With all the work you are doing with the 4430, how many hours have you put on the 4430 this year so far? I'd like to know, as I ran a 4430 primary tillage and a 4230 for secondary tillage/spraying for years then traded a 4230 for a 4440 with a cab, thought we were big time with a cab.
