Congrats. Quick question do I need to add details of all uk absences. I’m a frequent traveler n don’t have the boarding passes of my journey so difficult to add dates of leaving and coming back to the UK. Pls advise what to do

They only ask for the dates of entry and exit to the UK. And in most cases, you get a stamp on your passport on entry so it’s all on your passport. So check your passport stamps. Also check your email for some of your bookings. Those 2 were how I was able to recall my travel dates although it wasn’t too much!

You’ll get your ILR after 5 years if you’re on a tier 2 work visa but I started out as a Bsc student first and then a masters student before I got a tier 2 job.

There are different ways to gain permanent residency. I used the long residence route which is when you’ve lived in the Country legally and continuously for 10 years. There are other ways like the 5 years work permit route but I didn’t use that cos I first came as a student and after my Bsc and MSc, I had already lived here for 6 years before getting my work visa. So I clicked 10 years quicker than if I wanted to wait for the complete 5 years on my work visa.
