Finally I got to clean🧼 my Traxxas TRX4 Defender! It’s been ages since I’ve cleaned this one 😅.

Everyone's talking about rust. Just hit the metal in wd40 and blow everything out after. I have no rust on my stuff doing that.

Getting my first rig (trx4m) soon it’s shipping now. I know there waterproof but I still worry about getting it wet. Makes my anxiety go nuts lol

Yeah I completely agree. Traxxas say this is a waterproof RC but I don't think I would be doing this. Would've better to use compressed air and a wet cloth trying not to make scratches on the Lexan. I suppose the Lexan is ok to hose down but not the chassis and electronics inside. That high pressure hose could get into the reciever box and past the seal.

It depends on the parts and car the trx4m is fully customizable and I believe comes with water proof electronics

The ones i have on my trx4 almost have like heat shrink all around, but are def not waterproof, and would need silicone or something where the wires enter into the battery.
