Amazing acting from these actors/actresses. As Guangpu, his portrayal is so convincing that made me cried. Such brotherhood's love for Tuo. Very good drama even though i don't like to watch tear-jerker type of drama, but still ended watching it. Please prepared yourself lots of tissues to wipe away your tears. Through this drama, i have a better understanding of what ALS, how it affected the person...not just physically, but also mentally & emotionally. Salute & respect to the scriptwriter, director, cast & everyone behind the scene. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

How can a doctor disclose the diagnosis..

That's his friend. The only close person to the mc that the doctor had met. Considering mc's condition which he is in need of care from his family, i think it is fine. Moreover, mc himself call for his friend which can also be a nod to the doctor to disclose the info. Added to this, mc already told everything to his friend and he came to the doctor to get clarification.

I still think this is not even viable in real life. Since even the patient did not want to disclose his ailment to his friend. Tantamount to say the Doctor, has also no right to disclose any, which violate Doctor Patient confidentiality. But I guess. This is just for TV and to create drama.

@@jtforextradingph7992actually you missing some part in front...the beginning of the dialogue is he ask to the doctor,my friends have told me about his illness but i don’t understand and...

True it's mainly for TV but when I have taken my friends to their medical appointments that were serious I often followed them to the room, they never objected to it and the doctor never questioned it and assumed I'm their family or caregiver. So when everything was discussed with the patient I was in the room with them and the doctor would hand me their paperwork since they were unable to hold it themselves and they would tell me how to care for them. I assume in this scene the same thing happened he took tou to see the doctor and he didn't mind him being in the room with him, and thus was able to ask the doctor about his illness. Some things for TV are implied and not shown as that would take up too much screen time

Extreme frightening terminal illness of ALS suffered by Lin Tuo but with great support system like his good buddy friend Guangpu, Xindi, and faithful Gf Zhique things are easier. Rather than all alone facing terminal 😢illness and dying soon like my case.
