Thanks Jim, its good to be back 🤗 There were some worrying signs there on the rat front. I'll definitely be making sure all the carrots an leeks are harvested by the end of the month. Last year the rats were a nightmare late Autumn / early Winter and don't want that again 👍🌱👍

Lovely to see you back at the allotment! I've only just cleared the last of my tomatoes. Missed planting winter veg so I'm planting lots of spring bulbs so I've something beautiful to look forward to in Spring!

It looks like summer ☀️ My leeks have been destroyed. Caterpillars have eaten them all. I'm not sure if it's a leek moth caterpillar? I've googled & that's what came up. Absolutely gutted. My cauliflowers are ruined too, not sure if it's just slugs. Those carrots look fantastic though Mark 😊

I was really surprised how it looked in the tunnel after a month away. Mainly the tomatoes that were a right off but the rest wasn't too bad. The rats are a right pain and there's not a lot I can do to stop them. Like you I just need to try and be one step ahead by harvesting a little bit earlier 👍🌱👍

Thanks, its good to be back 😊 Managed to make it back up yesterday and got a load of beds prepped for the winter. Another couple of long sessions needed and it'll be looking tip top again.
