It is actually a myth that fish will only grow to the size of the tank they are in, the amount of food and other things can limit growth but tank size is not one of them.

It's somewhat true, the body will be limited and grow extremely slow which is terrible for the fish, because the organs will keep growing and the fish will die or become extremely unhealthy

Also It’s better to buy a bigger tank that you know the fish is going to need when it gets bigger than have to transfer it’s environment. I work in a fish store lol.

Word of advice: You don't want to use the same net that you use to pick up the lionfish for any other fish because it stresses the lionfish out which could potentially release some venom and affect another fish you put in the same net.

that is not true!!!! it clearly says that you have to be injected with the spines to get the venom into your system!!! and if they did release venom they would have to have an open wound for it to get into their bloodflow
