I love your family, CJ. Take good care of them, and may God's favor be upon you always. The issue of giving birth at home depends on an individual and which part of the world that's is my personal understanding. You mention the rope that ties the baby on the neck, that is the umbilical cord,which is normal during pregnancy because of the babies twist,stretch a bit during pregnancy though it's rarely harmful and can be managed safely during delivery .
