Very beautifully captured video journey towards Muktinath 👏, which reminded me of my old journey to Muktinath 3 years ago, but from Nepal. And a little bit of information for others from a religious point of view. The important thing is that Muktinath temple is not named after any Baba coz Babas are very controversial person in our religion right now for making money in the name of religion. I suggest not pronouncing Muktinath Baba. In fact, Muktinath is an ancient Vishnu temple in Mustang, Nepal. And the temple complex is known as Mukti Kshetra, which literally means "the place of liberation (moksha)" and is one of the Char Dham in Nepal. It is a very sacred place for Hindus, especially Vaishnavas, and is described in the ancient Hindu Vishnu Purana's Gandaki Mahatmya. This is why most South Indians visit this temple. And the other main significance of this temple is that it is the only source of the Shaligrama Shila in whole world, the non-anthropomorphic representation of Vishnu.The Prakaram (outer courtyard) has 108 bull faces through which water is poured, called Mukti Dharas (liberation, representing the sacred water of the 108 Divya Desams of Hinduism). So this water is very holy as the water of Ganga river and Nepalese Hindu take this water filling in bottle to their house for special ocassion and holy pujas. I hope this feedback will be little informative for our Hindus visiting Muktinath Temple in Mustang Nepal. Namaste from Nepal!🙏

Thanks bhai....i have been hearing about this route insurance thing but fhe officials where we for the permit from pokhara .....they said permit js enough......we asked them if we need anything else they said no.....now we are enroute manang....how do we get it now ? If they stop and ask for this......

@ same had happened with us, the officials and police till besisahar says there’s no other document required, but as you cross dharapani and reach that particular check they’ll stop and fine you unnecessarily.. I kind of felt that check post was a scam.

And if you’re not into offroads yet, there’s a ACA office right after besisahar where you’ll have to get the entry stamp done.. ask there maybe they’ll help or get a video clip on gopro of a traffic police saying that nothing else is required rather than the permit and show it those police.
