There is also another reason why all the other merc storia units have choppy animations. It's because this collab is like one of the first collabs that happened in battle cats. Back all those 10 years ago PONOS' animation and design team was either REALLY small or the animators weren't that experienced or skilled. But 10 years later, right now most units have amazing animations since now PONOS has probably hired better animators or the old ones became more skilled over time. This is why every new unit added in the recent years are wayyyyy more higher quality in animation and design than the old units.

Ngl I kinda like that they boosted speed and not hp. In some situations a slow meatshield is preferable so you can use her mid form with little consequence. And the rest of the time you can keep her true form if you aren’t worried about stuff like stalling a base hit stage to build money and stack attackers which speed actively hampers.

they have their own focus, so you should use them based on situation they fit better - Chibigau = pure defense - Nono = speed, cost efficiency, and curse immunity - Jetpack = also speed + dual typing with Alien

hell why not Ponos adds an hp niche like "only below lvl 51 you'll get 20% hp boost" or "no + lvl? then you'll get an 15% hp boost" and once you get that + dupe then it's gone, very very niche yes but at least it's a boost for us non-hyper boosted players ya know! not everyone has the wallet/cf to get around +30 lvls in dupes

Crystal gau gau has more health and is immune to knockback while having the same cooldown as nono so I would say use gau. However, if its a black stage mixed with relics then nono is great as she is immune to curse.
