Such a fun video idea! I remember I used to have a tns fan account on Instagram and I wrote a letter which was put into a scrapbook containing lots of letters from the fans to the cast. I don’t remember what exactly I wrote though 😅 As a fan from the UK I also remember being so excited when my question was read out by Brittany in one of those ‘ask the cast of the next step’ Q&A videos on the cbbc website

I just wanted to say thank you for making me fall in love with dance again. I've watched tns for about nearly 2 years and its amazing how you have changed my life. Also when my school used to do these concerts, we always did it at this hall which I was unaware of until I realised that you and TNS did their tour there. i grew up watching blue peter, not only do they have special guests, the presenters also do crazy challenges! for example, lindsay (the presenter shown in the first bp clip) walked from ireland to england across the ocean on a zorb ball, ran the london marathon, did various expeditions across mountain ranges and national parks, passed a baton mid-air to another presenter who were both strapped on top of a plane...the list goes on 😂. you could also earn various kinds of badges like the blue one that you have, silver (if you contribute but already have a blue badge - hypothetically, everyone i know who applied for one just got another blue), green (doing something for the environment), sport (self explanatory), orange (winning competitions), i think there were more too but i cant remember

when I was 8 I went to the 2017 tour in Bournemouth I was so excited to watch you dance and meet you! As soon as we got into the room where you were I went straight to you because you were my favourite character. I gave you some of my birthday cake from the day before and you touched my hat. I bragged about that too my friends when I got home. Now I dance because of the next step inspiring me! Thank you so much

Stop ruining my childhood memories lol Riley can still be independent and have a successful career in the business world and still have James. Yes it was a fan driven couple which made the show successful, your performance to create such characters should be something you should be proud off. We as fans dream of things that our screens sometimes offer and it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Their story was beautiful and not all path is made easy even in the real world. Yes real life we tend to make better choices in our relationships so let us Appreciate Riley and James through our screens.

Honestly it took a lot of courage for me to just click on this video. I know it’s crazy but I kind of collect fan mail kind of stuff for you that I hope one day I can actually give you… maybe in 10 years or so (I’m 13 and I’m a uk citizen). I have never been abroad but my dream holiday is to go to Canada and see you, and actually give you all the stuff that probably belongs to you (I mean the fan stuff I make). I wish I could meet you in person, but I know it won’t happen, not for a long time anyway. Honestly it makes me sad because I look up to you so much, you have basically shaped who I am and it would be my dream to meet you, even though I know it will never happen- not for a long time anyway. If you see this, please ❤ it because you might not know this but it helps me so so much, because I feel happy, understood, like I’m doing something right. That is something I struggle with, I jump to the conclusion that I’m doing everything wrong or everyone hates me (I do seem to lose a lot of friends, especially when my life gets really stressful and hard). Also if you have time please reply (truthfully) because it might seem like something small but it makes me so happy and brightens up my life. I won’t say bye- I’ll say see you later, because this channel is pretty much my home. ❤
