Propagating is fun! Especially when you see little babies 👶🏻 pop out unexpectedly. Love your video! Thank you for sharing! 👍🏼🌿💕

Thank you Laura, I also enjoy working with the little propagated babies and seeing them grow into bigger plants. So rewarding and wonderful for me. I am new to the whole succulent gardening, but enjoy it thoroughly. I can sit hours watching your videos, because there are so many things that one learns form you. I had a few died on me, but that's part of learning.Thanks :)

Hi Laura! That topsy turvy arrangement is one of my favourites of your work. It was nice to have it revisited. Who knew you could just tuck a few things in and not have to wait for cooler temps, pull the whole thing out and then cut and Choo and all that, which is what I always did. This was insightful. Thank you! From the garden city of India to you and team DFS, stay safe and have a fantastic week. Cheers and God bless!

Thanks to you, I now have several propagating trays in my garden nursery. The nurturer in me loves to care for them! 🥰

Fabulous! You taught me this five years ago - I have an ongoing "incubator" tray - I think 25% of my garden is propagation - so much fun. Often I just toss the leaves into the garden and they grow, I can see the tiny plantlets when I water or weed, such a joy!

You sound like a nurse, and how caring to treat those tiny succulents like neonates! Thanks for everything you do! I also live in San Diego, so I get a lot of tips from your videos!

6:50 was funniest part of the video. I also like the advice about using perlite or pumice or at the very least something to help aerate the soil

I do mine similar to how you do yours. I have a potting bench that I call my propagation station. I have little 5 inch terra-cotta pots that I bought on Amazon that I use a lot as well as anything else I have lying around. Once the weather cools down I’m going to have my husband install rain gutters on the patio walls for propagating and clippings.

Do you have a video on California heat stressing succulents? Every summer they either survive and flourish over the spring or they completely die no matter what I do.

Would you recommend propagation indoors during winter? Would growing lights be needed? Thanks for the amazing videos, they are very useful.

In cold climates, indoors with grow lights is recommended!

Hi Laura!😃 I am so happy you put this video up! I’ve been trying to figure out what I keep doing wrong? How often do you water once you put these baby’s in the pot like you just did? Do you recommend when watering to use a spray bottle or a small amount pouring water method? Also I tried to order a tank top but they were sold out!😩 I’m gonna buy a couple from you once my size comes back in! Love your informative videos so much!♥️
@LauraEubanks4 жыл бұрын
Yay!!! Just keep them as cool as possible and when the soil is dry to the touch, water gently with a mist😊

How shallow of a pot is acceptable? Or how many inches of soil is adequate to get the baby plants going? Thanks for all the terrific information.
@LauraEubanks4 жыл бұрын
An inch of depth would be fine for propagation.

I heard putting rocks in the bottom of the pot makes the succulents rot
@LauraEubanks4 жыл бұрын
Well, if there is no drainage, and you over water, then yes, you can rot your plants. The rocks are just to minimize the need for using so much soil.
