I am from Jammu and I will tell you a story. Year 2012 day DEC 16, Me and my friend live 22kms away from this place. We use to explore different places on my bike and on 16 dec 2012 we went on RS pura side to explore. I used to think that Pakistan will be atleast 100km away from my home but after just travelling 22kms we reached Suchetgarh and we were shocked to know that Pakistan is so near. At that time there was no Parade function and the barrier you showed at 10:00 there was not even that 5meter fencing and there were people from Pakistan side as well. We shook hands with pakistan people even took pictures with them. It was once in a lifetime experience. Good thing now this place will come in light and tourism will grow in proper Jammu as well. Thank you Ankit bhai for covering this.

Sir , mai bhi Jammu se hu . Aur hmara ghar border se 9 k.m ki doori pe . Jab firing hoti thi tab hmare village tak clear sound aati thi . Aur mere naani ka ghar sirf 5 k.m ki doori par hai border se . Unke village pe bomb girte hain jab firing hoti hai Aur unke village chhod kr bhagna padhta hai .

Ankit ji, first of all thank you so much for showing us this proud moment and unseen Jammu. You were very lucky to be there with a tiranga.That was the goosebump moment. Thanks to all our military and para military forces for their dedication and service to the nation.One thing i noticed, 'We are indians' was mentioned on India side without any further mention. Is this sort of parades done only at borders or at all borders.Sweetie was also doing the parade, well trained. Rotation of gun by the soldiers was amazing. Thanks.

@@patrickbatemanfromohio We fear not. Our forces are there to save us which also keep our morale high. Also we live in Sialkot city which is around 12 to 15-km away from Suchetgarh border. and not very close to border. There is another closeest border in sialkot which is HARPAL Village, which is more close to Sialkot and also a highway pass from very close of the border which connect border area villages to Sialkot.
