About that balcony at 5:53 (upper left corner). I used to think if you found a way to open the blue door (same door you can unlock in the PS4 remake) you would find a staircase that would lead to that balcony. My reason for thinking this at the time is that both the door & the balcony had that blue tint. So I just thought they were somehow connected. Prior to the retail release there was collision & various stairways that allowed you to climb to the very top of the structure.

Nice. You can do this on the demo too but your stamina is just the small default circle & you really got to be careful not to use any more stamina than possible during the climb. There is a little surprise waiting at the entrance to the Secret Garden that's not in the retail version of the game. Just in case you don't know what it is I wont spoil it. The demo for this game on disc is fairly cheap & there's a few other things you can see & do that's only in the demo version.

@@shanethompson5262 There aren't too many "jump-scares" in the game. But the first time you see Dirge pop up out of the sand & try to swallow you & Agro is a bit jarring. Also it can be a bit of a jump scare when Agro occasionally pops up out of nowhere & runs right in front of you. As for the "little surprise" in the PS2 demo, there are videos on here showing it along with discussions. But if you want to experience it yourself blind & you have a working PS2 (or PS3 that plays PS2 discs) the demo is cheap & easily available.

Actually at 8:51 that's not where Dormin's voice is coming from (except when you pick up a time attack item). The main hole from which Dormin speaks is located on the other side of the wall (the wall to your left after you enter the garden). There are a few tricks that allow you to get to that hole, but if you just want to see a portion of it in normal gameplay, hold the camera down during the end credits as the hawk flies out of the garden. You'll be able to see a small portion of the rim of the hole.

@@GussGames The other side of the wall in the distance at 6:51 is where Dormin's Hole is located. Just thought I'd be a little more specific about where exactly it is. I noticed at 8:51 you didn't look up. The hole actually continues into the upper part of the structure. You also mention there is no deer. If you play this game on PS3 & install the XMB dynamic theme, you'll see lots of wildlife in the garden including an adult deer with antlers at about the 70 minute mark.

@@GussGames Actually you probably remember the deer because during the end credits (of all 3 versions) we see a baby deer in the garden. It's first shown near the hole that's above the pool of water. But then it walks over to where Mono & Agro are so it can check out the baby that Mono is holding. Only the XMB dynamic theme for the PS3 release shows the adult deer.

Bro, I'm on my ps2, and like you it's not a problem for me to reach the small cliff at 2:31, but... I don't know why, it's impossible for me to sit down and recover my endurance on the cliff :(

I took me a couple dozen attempts to get it right. It only works if you can grab the small rubble lip and not the grass wall, in addition when you manage to get the grab right line your left hand up on the corner of the lip before trying to pull yourself up

I also never made it there as a kid haha. I always wanted to know what was up there....a hidden colossi, sword or other secrets. 17 years later i finally made it there, only to find out that there's bad fruit & nothing else lol

Presioné R1 o el botón de escalada para agacharme en la pared después de levantarme. Solo sé de que funciona en PS2. Para PS4 hay más lugares para descansar

Thank you! This was second to last boss the first play-through and like 20-30 lizards from wandering around. That's why I was so happy to have found a spot on that cliff in the beginning
