Here in Kenya they would apply something to protect the scalp, ears and edges of your hair. They’ll also do a deep treatment after the relaxer just to give the hair some added strength and nourishment, coz a relaxer does tend to strip the hair of some of its nutrients. But I love your results And you really have beautiful hair!

Should always do the roots last because the heat from the head will burn before the time. Always start with the middle and ends

I'm relaxing mine today... it's been a year wince i started growing it from low cut.. it's long, but it's like iron sponge.. i occasionally make protective styles, but i juat want to be able to pack it.

Omoh... you tried o,that's actually a lot u went through. The first error is him not putting cream or sheabutter at the edges before starting. To think it's even transitioning,the hair should have been combed too before starting at all. He could have encouraged that just to detangle or some sort. Sorry about the experience really. Retouching hair is always enjoyable for me. Aside that I visit someone I'm comfortable with for it,(cos when it comes to hair relaxing,no b everybody fit do am well) my hair doesn't hurt when the relaxer is right there till the hair dresser/myself is tired and then we wash(I no know which kyn hair be that 😂 but omoh if I use anyhow relaxer I fit see shege too🤣) mega growth and olive products are good. I was certain there would be burns...cos that process phew! Mbok if there is a next time please insist on the right process u want,the next experience will be better. The hair looks beautiful 😍 love the result
