I’m not sure what to expect tin terms of when to start first look vs if I don’t do a first look, what sorts of photos can be done together but separate (like a doorway shot where bride and groom are on either side etc) thank you!!

What is a good way to prep men's skin for photography?

I recommend ensuring they moisturize after washing their face in the morning and evening to hydrate. That's really good to do in life, in general, but especially before the wedding day. Also, making sure they drink a lot of water too. :)

Wow I LOVE your dress! Question- how often do you see brides do an outfit change for the reception? In your opinion is it kind of extra or over the top to have a more traditional dress for the ceremony and then a more non-traditional or short dress for the reception (assuming it's in budget)?

I think it's such a fun thing! I'd say about 10% of my brides change or simply remove the top skirt piece or something like that. I do see it a lot more with higher end brides having multiple gowns. It's extra, but super fun for different looks in photos :)

I watched this video 3 times already! Love love loved it!! Beautiful couple and beautiful wedding ❤️ quick question: do you remember what time sunset was on your wedding day and what time you allotted to sunset pictures? Do you recommend we take those immediately before the sun is scheduled to set or a bit prior?

Sunset was 7:13pm. I think we did sunset portraits at 6:45 which is a little earlier than I would normally do them but the light at the venue goes down so quickly that I wanted to have them start earlier. I do the same thing if I am shooting in the mountains or downtown where you lose light to the environment before actual sunset. Best for normal locations would be 15-20 min before, but it's totally fine to do them 30ish before if your schedule works better that way.
