Fellow NBFL (2003) driver here. Great review! Nice coincidence as well for me! I was eyeing in a beige wind deflector with speakers for two years or so. My interior is beige. Those are almost impossible to find.. Decided two months ago to just buy a black one and paint it beige. I bought the M200 speakers simultaneously. I was blown away by the rich 3 dimensional sound my little car now has! I was so impressed I impulsively bought the M800 speakers to replace the stock door speakers. I installed those yesterday as well! First I tested the sound with the stock tweeters hooked up as well. But the sound output was way to rich high frequency wise. So I disconnected those top two tweeters. Now the sound output is much more balanced. Really happy with the results! :)

You do know about the woofer mounts from CarbonMiata which allows two 6.5 inch woofers to mount under the carpet kit on the shelf, right? I have my windblock tweeter speakers connected by crossover with said woofers.

I do. If I didn't like the sound from the rear speakers on this that was going to be my plan B. This was much less expensive than that so I wanted to try it first

I don't understand why you replace the Rockford Fosgate speakers you had you had in the doors, those are way better speakers than the ones you replaced them with.
