If one need to get a perfect idea , how / what is the life of Colombo people , then he has to visit sub cities surrounded...such as Nugegoda , Kottawa, Kotte , Kiribathgoda , Kadawatha , Kandana ..., then you fined their lifestyles , also you can go better shopping , you can taste better food, even you can feel & enjoy the atmosphere . For our day today life needs we never go Colombo . That is use less . So travel up to Kotte & see the Parliament area , Diyatha uyana & then to Makumbura multi model transport center from there you can go to many parts of the country .

There are some other shoping centers such as MC , Liberty plaza , Odel ...& many in Colombo. Also if you want to try for clothing go to textile shopes in sub citys near Colombo such as Bambalapitiya, Nugegoda, Kiribathgoda. There you can by fore resonable prices .
