I have been derma rolling at home for almost two years! I really recommend you try a dermapen instead of a stamp! It is much more professional and won't tug on the skin. It also stamps the needles directly into the skin at a fast-paced level while you glide the pen across your face. Stamps are more likely to create track marks and not give you the desired results as well as being pesky to handle. Anyhow, I say this from experience since scars are incredibly stubborn and difficult to treat, and I saw no good improvement with stamping or rolling my face, only temporary swelling that gave it the appearance of plumped skin. Also, the published pictures from Ginamber are under completely different lighting, with the first image under angled harsh lighting and the other two under softer lighting-making the results unreliable
@livelovetravel58683 жыл бұрын
Was dermaroller completely useless?
@west80383 жыл бұрын
@@livelovetravel5868 It depends on what you want. If you want temporary plumpness, even skin tone and products to penetrate a little deeper then derma rollers work. I have scars and it did not penetrate the skin enough to build collagen. The temporary plumpness would deceive me, sometimes the skin would be plump, scars would appear filled for a week or two and then bam it would be back to square one . I personally found dermarollers beyond 0.50mm dangerous since it tugged and pulled on my skin. The needles would bend since I could not change the needles ( you can change the cartridges for a dermapen) Plus where's the control with a dermaroller? you cannot adjust the needle depth along your face ( you can with dermapen).

Hey I'm 18 years old And I have some large and big pores on my face And there is some black heads in the pores Should I use derma roller Or should I go to a dermatologist
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls3 жыл бұрын
Dermarolling tightens the skin as it builds collagen. But since you're still 18, your skin is probably still tight enough to not need the dermaroller. Big pores may be a genetic thing and so keeping your blackheads under control would be one of the few ways to keep your pores less visible. You may try visiting a dermatologist to see what options best fit your skin type. You can also try salicylic acid products and see how it works for ya.

Is there like type of needle in dermastamp that we should choose? Like we have 540 and 192 in dermarollers? Also are the adjustable derma stamps good?
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
540 needle dermarollers tend to have spikey wheels instead of actual needles which isn't the best option. There's a better chance that 192 dermarollers use actual real needles so i suggest leaning towards that. The dermastamp/pen is the best option in my opinion though!

I'm not too sure because I switched to the aquapen before I was done using the stamp but I personally would use it after 5-7 times. If it starts to really hurt and make you bleed more than usual, I take that as a sign that the needles have become dull and need to be replaced.

For now, I would give your skin time to heal and only apply gentle products with no active ingredients. See how your skin does the next week or so.
