I'm on my fifth restart 😊 my very first island I played normally, the next three I time travelled a lot and I have to say, my first ever island was my favourite. I have come to the conclusion that time travelling totally spoilt the game for me so for my new island I am playing how the game was designed to be played, slow paced and chilled out and I already love my new island more than the last three 😊 I never used treasure islands because for me personally, I felt it took too much from the actual gameplay and the excitement and joy of finding the items/DIYs etc for yourself 😊

I agree I think the game is the most fun played 'as intended'. Even though time traveling can be useful too I think taking it slow is the best way to enjoy! 🤗 (but also totally whatever suits ones play style)

@Cinnamilla absolutely ☺️ I love how people have different styles of playing and that the game caters to all. For some terraforming is the best part of the game and time travel and treasure islands are fantastic for that. Some of the islands I've seen are incredible, there are some very creative people out there ☺️

100%! And it’s good to change it up as well. Back in like the end of 2020 I had been really against time traveling but also I was kinda burnt out on the game a bit so I was like oh whatever, and I started to enjoy the game again by changing it up ☺️ although I do love the slow paced play style more, sometimes it’s good to also change it up for awhile if it gets a bit stale/boring 🤗

Love this Mila. I miss my first basic island that I did before I knew anything about animal crossing. Would love to see you do whatever you feel like on this island with no pressure like it used to be ❤ I remember the Koala and Faith hunts well! Loved the chill vibe of this video and looking forward to the series 🍄

Hi, Im into watching island tours and I can really appreciate other peoples islands bc I just cannot do detail and it took me two islands to realize that I enjoy variety and eclectic things in ACNH as I do in life… it’s taken awhile to gather villagers I wanted from the beginning (a squirrel island and a cat island, yes 2 islands)! And during the island tours, there were islands that just clicked with me… like the pixel look on the map so not having to round corners unless rarely, and it made it all FUN again… but my squirrel island was named wrong so I did restart and named it Acorn and did a minimal no terraforming island and am loving it bc I chose the map with mostly flat island… except squirrel mountain neighborhood. So, I take very small build ideas or styles that click with me, so I do eclectic norm core LOL… AND my enjoyment for high decorating is satisfied with appreciating dream tours and sometimes also visiting their designs and knowing that my taste for natural island with running and fewer items is my game vibe.

I discovered treasure islands this week because I reset my island. I used them to get back to where I was before the reset and now I'm back to playing normally. I also get what you're saying about having too many bells. I got enough crowns to get several million bells and even that is too much....although it is nice to buy ALL THE THINGS 😅

They're so useful but there is such a fine line of going overboard with them and regretting later 😂😂 but it is oh so very nice getting all the items for a build or getting a little help to pay off that house loan ngl 🙈

Excited for this series because you never see anyone landscape or decorate in real time. It's always speed builds, inspo... whatchamacallits. Pinterest is the exact opporsite for me, I feel like you so rarely see something remarkable onthere... Or at the very least something different enough to be memorable. Is it just me? It's really cool but I've seen it before. The curse of grouping simular pictures together like Pintrest does it.

Yay! Tbh, there is not too much landscaping/terraforming in this series (some yes but most I do before recording the episodes).. I could try add more though but especially terraforming is pretty slow and would take up the whole episode so I decided to cut most of it out for the sake of the episode not being only terraforming, but there will be decorating yes! And how funny Pinterest is the opposite for you! I mean, sometimes it is good inspo for me but I feel like especially with the rural town core looking islands I always see these insane island designs and I'm just like ...how 😳 but with forest core etc yeah it is pretty basic but sometimes there is cute little useful ideas there (or could be that the algorhytm is just not the best also 😂)

That sounds great! And I love the name Acorn for a squirrel island 🤎 I think I wanna do some sort of norm core maybe on my next island it sounds so fun & chill!
