@@martinmaicon3666 I can confirm that there is no password required for downloading, extracting, or running. I can also confirm that I got it working on my Linux machine. I have heard a report of it causing a BSOD on Windows, but I don't know the cause. See my post for more news on that. I can also confirm that it is, in fact, a mod that implements some of the KR2 and KR3 towers into KR1.

I’m Chinese and I’ve been following the mod author for a few months. The effect of star upgrades applied to different towers are different. For example the DWAARP uses star upgrades in KR1, but the Mecha uses star upgrades in KR2. He also makes mod for Origins, and the Rangers Hideout in Origins use the first 4 levels star upgrade in KR3 and the fifth star upgrade in KR1 so that the poison does not contradict with the bleeding.

The KR1 mod opens the door for many lame things to shine. I wonder if Star Upgrades from KR, KRF, KRO combined into one. That would be the most satisfying I've ever seen.

FINALLY someone talks about modding in kingdom rush! I've been trying to find out how this was done. When ever I try to look it up on a search engine, I mostly get links to cracked/cheated versions... Could you tell me how I could install this tower mod? or at least give me the name of the mod? Any clues to track this down would be very helpful.

Interesting, thanks for the link! Are there only a handful of towers? and none from vengeance? also no new arrow paths? As I'm a linux player, here's a more specific linux installation guide for steam (it probably works on GOG, haven't tested it yet though, just grab the windows offline installer, run it, then do step 5): 1- back up your game files 2- force enable proton for KR in the compatability panel 3- delete all the files in the game folder 4- verify integrity of game files (reinstall the game, steam will grab the windows version) 5- back up the windows version for your convenience 6- copypaste the unzipped mod files into the game directory, replacing the main exe in the process. 7- joy

I think the 15.4% calculation for double damage is off slightly. Instead, it should be 14.8% because it should be the sum of the probability of the critical hit occurring but not the precision and the precision occurring but not the critical hit. Thus, it equals 5.4% + 9.4%. Instead 15.4% equals the probability of either obtaining a critical hit, or a precision hit, or both.

I was just being sarcastic. It was my way of praising the creators of the mod in a silly way. The joke is that I came to the wrong conclusion by praising all Chinese people for the work of a handful of them. My real opinion is that everyone has equal potential to be amazing regardless of their race.
