Yes. Nashville is in the south. It’s in Tennessee. So there’s Florida at the bottom (the peninsula at the south eastern corner of the US), then Georgia is directly above Florida. Tennessee is directly above Georgia. Nashville is called Music City because it’s the hub of country music. I absolutely love Nashville. I’ve only been a few times, but the vibe there is so cool. (And I’m not even a fan of country music.) And you are correct. A lot of Americans would not even be able to tell you the continent that Sweden is located on, much less to name other countries on it. But we also have this aura of self importance that we are the greatest country ever, so how dare people not know everything about America?!? Lol.

Tennessee is in the south, but if there were a map of the south, it would be almost at the very top. Nashville is where the country music scene is based. My husband is from Tennessee, but the other side of the state from where Mel is. I know absolutely nothing about Sweden except what you tell us. People are so rude.

Also “the south” doesn’t just mean geography otherwise CA would be part of it. It’s almost about confederate states but also it’s cultural? My parents are from NC and they’re definitely “southern” because of their speech, cuisine and cultural upbringing. I can’t imagine someone from another country trying to determine what that means when it doesn’t always make sense to US citizens. lol

Its (I think) just under a 300 mile marker. Texas I'm pretty sure doesn't fall in there, but California definitely doesn't. Lol But now I'm questioning all of it, it's been years, No decades since I had a geography lesson LOL

Your point about preferences is so true. Everyone says orange blush is so good on those with dark skintones but I hate how it looks on me. I have such a strong yellow undertone to my skin that most oranges make me look sick. I've purchased probably 15 orange blushes ranging from light to dark and orange-yellow vs orange-red and bright or more muted. I just don't think it looks good on me. The only kind that I think looks okay is coral-orange (leaning more on the pinky coral side and bright) or terracotta orange-brown as long as it isn't too dark. I eventually just accepted that I like how pink blushes (especially warm medium toned ones) look on me. I need to just buy what I like and what I think looks good, not buy what others say is good for me.

I love all Samantha's Ofra collab products. And I didn't end up picking up the Tiny Marvels palette but I think it's such a unique concept! Seeing how pretty it is on you makes me think I should have grabbed it. 💖💖
