I think it’s beautiful. Only gripe I have is that technical the council room is in the middle spier. But I get why they did what they did. Edit: correction that room is one of the smaller pillars.

lego pays and upcharges because of official licensing and brand name.

Chinese blocks. Inferior quality (blocks may not hold together as well due to lack of Chinese plastic mold precision) + more likely to have missing pieces due to inferior quality control.
