You should make a parameterized function rather than copying the same portion of code 15000x in your event graph, otherwise it's not great ^^'

just thinking.. the texture used for the shoes/shirts/etc is probably left blank because there is a blueprint probably that lets the user pick the texture(style) they want for shoe/legs/top. But I guess having a default one isnt bad either

Hi. Thanks for the tutorial. Did u try to use static mesh? I'm just having a crash when trying to create a mesh section from it

Yes I have had many issues with static mesh and groom assets I hope to make a video to cover this soon. Thanks for watching the video.

Maybe its cuz the plugin cannot work with static meshes. It doesnt know what part of it to move and where bc it doesnt have bones. I recommend this part of a video (12:20 - 27:00) to help u get the static mesh rigged: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWiZqKCdYsipqNEsi=JOVl3KTaFP-_uq7e&t=740

You can convert static meshes to skeletal meshes and use them in the mutable graph.

Honestly, I am not a hundred percent certain.

Can I make it happen with non meta human clothes ?
@UnrealMadeEasy10 күн бұрын
You can. With some work you can make most meshes work. Works better if your models have built in morphs.

My normal functioning animbp turns into a lovecraftian abomination when its applied to the customizable skeleton. limbs get stretched, head gets moved way out and down to the side. i cannot for the life of me figure out why the preview A pose is fine but the animbp twists and conforms the skeleton

Yes I know this issue. I am uncertain on why certain meshes transforms can overwrite the body mesh, causing this effect. I hope to find a solution. I am not sure if it is a bug in the plug-in or my limited knowledge of it.

@@UnrealMadeEasy updating my synty skeleton to one that matches the mutable skeleton got me closer to something that looked normal but i guess this is just synty skeletons being cursed
