Cait should have been called out on the extra card this is why having two judges and a third watching from a sky view point is needed so when a misplay happens it’s caught. Her keeping an extra card in hand when she wasn’t supposed to lead her to a win I’m sorry but it’s unacceptable sad that happened to Dusty

Lol, what's up with the resolution of the misplay @9:25? Cait draws 2 cards, obv thinking she'd cast a FotOS, but the SECOND card drawn was a FotOS, which the judge made her put back, but not the FIRST drawn card. Then they let her FULLY RESOLVE the Be Our Guest looking at the full 4 cards. Why was she allowed to just keep an extra card? And why was there no stricter punishment for actively mixing extra cards into her unknown hand (it would have been an easier fix if she'd kept the drawn cards separate from her hand). Sure, in the finals of a larger PPG Open, she should have gotten a game-loss no?

from our understanding, judge was operating off of the information provided by both players - once the information was confirmed by both parties the reparable game state was executed. There was no acknowledgement by either party about an extra card being drawn.

How is the Judge not properly paying attention to the FINALS (read: the last game of the tournament) and making sure issue like this are resolved properly? It's literally the ONLY game going on at the time, and should have at least 1 set of judge eyes on it at all times. And if this is the gold standard of competitive tournament play as we know it, shouldn't the rules and enforcement be tighter and more strict? Extra cards to hand is a pretty big deal, at least it is in the more established tcg's like MtG. @@Pro-PlayGames

You should always use pen and paper in competetive events. Trackers like that are very easy to fudge and get wrong, both intentionally or not. I tend to politely ask my opponent to use an alternative method if im in a competetive event. It isn't enforced in Lorcana rules at the moment but, its best practive from my MTG days. Majority of gamers don't want to be distracted during a game, alot of these players are pretty quiet, or onky say stuff relevant to the game state. "Hearing response? No all good" 50 times is even more boring
