It's actually a lot of fun, and almost hypnotic when you're in the groove. Some of the most fun I've ever had shotgunning is loading up an 8-round "riot" 870, and having the puller launch 8 straight random skeet targets (high, low, doubles), and being able to hit them all.

According to master wing shooters or uplanders, you need one gun that is light to get the general job done. A gun that can swing right and feels good. One that can be carry all day like a Parker or a Holland and Son. For the average person of 5'6", you want a 24-26 inch. I think something like a CZ lightweight or a Emperior EMO2 or a Browning Cynergy Synthetic would be good. Even a DeHaan. The only thing about the DeHaan is the Huglu company rep. Idk.

megasif, i have been hunting much more than u and one year i shot 219 grouses in 250 shots, for me that is history, today i save the grouses, but the gun i used was a special miroku, today i dont like to hunt, i like the birds to be alive

no i think beretta is better, when u hunt it is important to have a shotpoint direct, and avoid misses, beretta is better than perazzi

I have to say Beretta is good, but I don't like the auto safety. That's gay. Not good for hunting. It's good for clay if it's like that. I can't afford a Perazzi. Miroku to me is too heavy, but nice and quality. I don't know know what is best for hunting. That's why I am here rather questioning. I just wish people are as honest and smart as they make it seem.

I gotta sat guys. Iv been a country boy all my life. Hunting, camping, fishing and just target shooting. But THIS "sport" has got to be the most dumbest/boring sport EVER! ..otherwise, good shooting....
