I used to watch all Finals. They were a very good tool for new shooters to watch the best competitors perform on all the stations, not anymore. I can't understand how the ISSF do not realize the damage is doing to the sport with these new rules. They are turning a very challenging sport into a game of luck. You can shoot 125 targets on the qualification rounds while the second place competitor shoots 115 targets. You go to the new Final, and the wind makes you miss a target. See next

Most of the shooters that are learning the sport have to pay for the shells, targets etc. The elite shooters do not pay for shells, targets or shotguns, which is good, I'm not criticizing them. But now the ISSF makes the rest of the shooters spend more money and time learning to shoot a reverse double on 3 and 4. A very good thing to encourage new shooters!

You go to the new Final, and the wind makes you miss a target. The shooter with the 115 targets brake's 16 targets. You have shot better than him, but you lose.- Is this good for the Sport??? Is this a Sport or a Card Game. A boxer in a 10 round match wins the first 9 rounds, but now with the new rule, the last round is the one that counts.

A baseball team is 10 runs to 0 in the first 8 innings, but the new intelligent rule does not count the 10 runs, they start at 0. The final inning will decide the winner. Very, very good rule!!! Similar to what?!
