لِيُنْفِقْ ذُو سَعَةٍ مِنْ سَعَتِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ قُدِرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ فَلْيُنْفِقْ مِمَّا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ ۚ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا مَا آتَاهَا ۚ سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا7
The wealthy shall spend according to his means; and he whose resources are restricted shall spend according to what Allah has given him. Allah never burdens a soul beyond what He has given it. Allah will bring ease after hardship. 65/7

So beautifully recited MashaAllah. Indeed giving in Allah's cause does not diminish ones wealth. Not just the rewards in the hereafter but even in this life you get more. Alhamdulillah. Two other interpretations could be to not give everything (balance?), and not ruin themselves by 'advertising' Can't risk washing away any, ones life (hereafter) literally depends on safeguarding the few good deeds that one may have :) InshaAllah! One more knowledge gem learnt. Thank you!
