I am forbidden by law, to explain some of the terrible things that I was forced to do to you as a private water and wastewater employee. As a state employee, I couldn't complain about anything but fluoride and management. Private water companies have private interests. Community water companies have community interests. Just so you are aware, no one does wastewater properly. You should really be paying more attention to wastewater effluent. Operators that sample are expected to pass, no matter 'what'. @HaveAGreatDay54Күн бұрын
@@jackstiles458 No. Gray water Has no fecal contamination and is considered safe to dilute in stream water in some cases. In my opinion it is not safe. It should be kept in check as well. I am referring to wastewater, as a whole, that is treated in wastewater plants then the treated water is placed back into a body of water for reuse. The effluent that comes out of these plants is NOT clean. Sampling is required to maintain a low level of bacteria. The operators that get paid by the plant owners are the legal samplers. Imagine it being a lot like internal affairs for police. Most people seem to have no idea that their wastewater is recycled in this way. That is by design.

Great documentary. Anyone with a brain will say water is a human right. However, I think one key point missed here is there has to be a way to incentivize farmers to move towards products that are less water intensive to conserve the resources already there... Raising cattle in one of the most arid places on Earth is arguably one of the biggest ways possible to waste water. Raising cattle for beef requires something insane like 15k-20k liters of water PER KILOGRAM. Pricing cattle farmers accordingly is an effective, albeit cruel way of reining that in. But there has to be some kind of mechanism in place to cut back on wasteful usage.
