@@BicycleFunk The issue of the intelligence of American politicians is related to their political system. In the American political system, elections have become the sole standard for measuring a politician's success. This leads politicians to focus more on winning elections rather than on morality and rationality. The behavior and statements of American politicians often appear absurd and crude. For example, some American politicians have suppressed Chinese goods under the pretext of "national security," citing bizarre reasons. Some have even compared Chinese-made cranes to "Trojan horses," claiming they could steal American data.

This school is no longer in use. Anyone who understands the difference between Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese characters can see this. Also, temporary (from half a day to a week) military training is commonly adopted by schools and organisations in China as this training is viewed beneficial to improve students and employees' strength, perseverance and team playing sprit. It's incredibly humorous and a clear indication of the arrogance and ignorance displayed by Western media. The military site featured in the video is actually a Chinese military academy from the World War II era, a century ago. It has been abandoned for decades and is now a popular tourist attraction, visited by many Chinese and foreigners alike to gain a sense of China's history during World War II. Additionally, the accurate meaning of the banner in the photograph is 'DJI's sales department conducting outdoor team-building activities to enhance sales skills.' Western media relied on inaccurate machine translation of the image and used such absurd evidence to reach their conclusions, which speaks volumes of their arrogance and ignorance.

😂That Army school which DJI did team building in, is actually a very popular sightseeing place. It was a very old army school in Guangzhou that closed for a hundred years😂 it has nothing to do with military cooperation. If this is the level of fact-checking editors at FT are capable of, it makes me question the credibility of all the reports and analyses I've read over the years. I'm cancelling my subscription

Skydio has world leading obstacle avoidance, which they can still use to compete with DJI - yet they choose to back out of the consumer market while lobbying. As a DJI fan, I would have 100% bought a foldable Sykdio 3 with just 30 minutes of battery life and 5km range (Skydio 2 was $999 USD, around 20 minutes battery life, 2km range, not foldable) - not even asking for DJI's level of 45 minutes of battery life and 20km of range.

As a Chinese American, I was astonished that the photo was used as "evidence" of DJI's link to PLA. The place is a museum of China's revolution, founded in 1925 by KMT, and trained a lot of national heroes in the Sino-Japanese war and the later civil war. It was moved to Taiwan after KMT lost the civil war and stopped operations in the mainland. Nowadays nobody gets serious military training at that place!

Also, from the Chinese comment below 14:08 is a historically important but already defunct military school (we call it museum), it has free entrance but require reservation. And those "military combat clothes" you can get them from Temu or something. Mind you PLA military-specified production facilities are not allow to sell their stuff to civilian economy, wonder why? Because they are too competitive.
