From Goofy's line at 6:42 it's looking like two possibilities are in play here. 1. Alternate world where the events of KH1 are just getting underway, and instead of going to Traverse Town and finding Sora, Donald and Goofy go to Twilight Town and find Kairi and Roxas from an alternate future. 2. Kairi and Roxas have been somehow transported to the past, where KH1 is just getting started, and where Donald and Goofy were supposed to find no-one and move on to Traverse Town, they run into Kairi and Roxas instead.
