Pff, there's a way easier method to remotely shutdown any PC. Open your eyes because this is gonna be revolutionary: 1. Target the victim's house 2. Go to the victim's house 3. Place C4 on the walls 4. Hide them with a chimical biodegradable essence with sodium chloride (you may also use white Paint) 5. Install some remote cameras to spy the victim 6. Go back home 7. This doesn't accept ip addresses as input only hostnames. In addition this tool should really only work in a domain environment, (although there is a chance it could work if everyone was workgroup with network discovery turned on. I did this during highschool to a college i had a class for. I shutdown a students computer and then he told the professor "My computer just randomly shut down!" Me and a couple others started laughing and the professor (ex teacher at our high school and a drunk) came over and laughed and said thats not possible. Because it was on a local network they had ID's for each computer, I then told my friend to get the professors ID and he did. It was on the same shutdown -i except there were already machines on there, so I didn't have to add any. Then I shutdown his and he freaked and said "MY computer shutdown randomly!" The kid then responded the same way lol

When you pull up shutdown -i you have to usually input a certain IP address. Well what the college did to make like easier on themselves was make it so each computer was put into a database and putting a sticker on each computer with a certain ID. Then when you went to shutdown -i and the prompt popped up you didn't have to add any IP addresses in there at all b/c there was the database full of every computer on the network so you just had to figure out the computers ID by looking on the sticker match it with the one in the shutdown -i part and then click shutdown.

Jackson - Are you referring to his local IP address (they start with 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x? If so, that's just an internal IP address that is not routeable. As such, that really doesn't provide anyone any info on this guy. Also, unless you have a commercial IP subscription you don't get a static IP address. The ISPs provide dynamic which change periodically.
