After weeks of searching, our hunt was over as we finally found the Lost Gold Mine and Mill that we found on Google Earth, and we cannot believe how rich the Gold Ore is that was left behind. Now we can see why no one has been out to this one in a long time. If you have any stories of lost Gold mines that you found we would love to hear them so throw it down in the comments section and if you want to see how me and my wife dig out Gold from our Drift mine, check out this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJvKeKaDftGomdk and smash that like button real hard.

Jeff, I need to get out there so I can find gold. I'm so tired of being a poor lol. Canada's economy is in the drunk tank for various reasons but either way, I hope to get there. I could always shovel poo in San Francisco for 80k a year I guess but that would be a stinky job. 🤷♂️

It's the one thing you always say, Study the USGS maps, then follow the geology. And once again, the geology was right. Great video Jeff. And yeah, it sucks that there's idiots who are able to drive with such limited brain capacity. Let's hope Karma enjoys the visit. I'm pretty sure that the old timers weren't too happy about it.

You're videos are an invaluable resource for amateur Prospectors like myself & I need to watch the ones on land status and how to stake a claim again, cuz I'm interested in some spots around there & I'm pretty slim (almost as much as the one you used to ride with) 😁 so I can get around on foot really well and found some pretty interesting spots out there, & getting around the desert ain't as easy some think, I think you're doing great! 😎 Mike

There are rock piles, posts with no claim information.... but when I look it up on my land matters, I only see active claims nearby, not at the spot I'm interested in..... maybe it was a claim at some point, there's even a core drill sample missing from the hill I'm interested in..... and it's oozing with indicators, including hits on the gold Monster 1000.... I'll keep an eye out for new episodes and keep watching the Treasure Trove you've already compiled. I'll stay safe & you do the same 😎

some google earth photos in the colorado mountains near a busy highway were so good i zoomed in on a minivan on the highway and could see the outline of the driver in the vehicle and i could almost read the licence plate !! i was scanning the mountain/ rock exposed ridges adjacent to the highway for larger quartz veins and saw a number of them.unfortunately i was nowhere near the area and driving there would be 3 days or more. this was maybe 8 years ago and last year the photos of that area had been dulled down to the point you could no longer see even the type of vehicle other than its a automobile of some kind. but still many of the mapping photos give great detail of topography generally.☺. the Brecciated quartz vein .....we found one while working on a particularly good placer working cut 16 years ago . we photo located it for future reference and have a drill location earmarked there on our current mineral exploration permit. the vein is 1 to 2 yards wide and exposed for 45 ft before running under a cap of andesite.
