I tried the other methods (using pressure to rotate the wheels while trying gauge subtle differences) without success for longer than I'd care to admit. This method only took about 15-20 minutes. I clamped the lock gently in a small vice and used a pencil eraser to turn the wheels as my fingers are large. I thought the combination was in the 300 range but I ended up cashing at 637!

thanks soooo much. panicking as followed manufacturers instructions but couldnt open it ! this really helped. obvious but I was panicking as was testing kids suitcases with a similar set up and our flight was imminent. its all about maths and really reading instructions - when setting I didnt do the click properly. If it's locked...try judging the last number by trying to pull out the latch. The number that let's you pull the latch out maximum is your number. (Try and you will be able to judge) Now you need to check for the rest combinations of the digits. Should not take 5 minutes. Try it yourself and let know.

No apply pressure on reset button at bottom of lock, start rotating numbers closest to the button your pressing. The button will go in a little further with every correct number on ce button sinks then u have your code. I lost my lock combo two years later I pulled it out, common sense told me that pushing in the reset button and feeling for give during rotation would find it and it did I did it in about 7 ‘8 minutes

Make sure ALL your numbers are in alignment and snapped in place. The systematic method is sure fire eventually. People are lazy, .they don't always want to be spinning a lot of dials every morning to get into their brief case before their morning coffee. They may use simple easy to remember combinations .ike 001 or 100 or 888. Others may utilize three matching digits like 111, 222, 333 or 444. Some people use motor C.I.D. like 283 or 289 or 350. Other use gun calibers like .357 or .308 or .243 There may be short cuts IF .... you "forgot" your combination.

Took me about 3 weeks to do a 4-number (0-99) combination safe that way. Printed out every combination and tried them at random and crossed them off one by one, then got lucky about 1/5th of the way through. I figured out how to hack the 4th (final) number so I was only guessing out of 10,000 combinations because although the numbers go 0-99 the gates inside each wheel are only every 10 numbers. Once I hacked it, I opened it up to reveal the actual position of the gates and I still use it to this day. This was a curbsided safe where there was something metallic inside. That turned out to be just a bag of nails. LOL!

4 digits means it will take you over 3 hours using this method since 3 digits is 1000 possible combinations while 4 digits is 10 times more or 10000 possible combinations
