Saw the missing sign on trail sign on the John Muir Trail in July. As I recall, I hiked to Shadow Lake around the time that he was thought to have disappeared. I was contacted by someone about him through Hikearizona.com because I posted some photos from that hike. I wish I could say that I saw him that day, but I didn't.
